Macon outlasted the Marceline Lady Tigers last night in the Macon Tournament 56-45. Shelby Petre finished with 14 points and Lexi Miller led all scorers with 18 points. Macon improves to 8-3 and Marceline falls to 6-7. Marceline was led by Ireland Bloss with 10 points. Macon will play Centralia on Wednesday. Marceline will face Centralia tonight and we will have the game on KDWD starting at 5:45 with the pregame show. On the boys’ side of the bracket The Marceline boys lost to number one seed Mexico 75-31 and falls to 6-5. Will Heller led the Tigers with 9. Sam Gillman and Zach Niemeier had 7 each and Wyatt Malloy scored 5. Marceline will take on the Macon boys tonight at 7:30 and we will have the game here on KDWD right after the girls game. Both Marceline games will be played in the HS gym tonight. Kirksville picked up a 66-43 win over Centralia in a boys game last night. We did not receive a score on the Harrisburg and Mexico girls.
