Results from the Class 1 state wrestling tournament held over the weekend in Columbia:
3rd Place Team: Brookfield
Peyton Parn 1st at 113 pounds, Jaden Abongo 1st at 170 pounds, earning 4th place were Gambal Staddie at 126 pounds and Colton Parn at 145 pounds. Devan Parn took 5th at 138 pounds.
7th Place Team: Marceline
Mason Barnett finished 2nd at 170 pounds, Drew Griffin at 106 pounds and Conner Quinn at 128 pounds both finished third. Canaan Wright at 126 pounds and Jace Bixenman at 145 pounds both finished in 6th place.
