Emergency crews rushed to scene late Friday morning after minivan ran into Macon restaurant

Multiple emergency crews rushed to the scene late Friday morning after a minivan ran into a Macon restaurant. It happened right before noon at the former location of Raspberry’s BBQ along Highway 63 just north of the Macon city limits. The Missouri State Highway Patrol told KTVO the minivan was driven by Vonda Linder, 82, of La Plata. State troopers said Linder accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake. The van then jumped the curb and crashed into the restaurant. No one was injured. The van sustained minor front-end damage, and the building had a small hole from the impact.
