The Highway Patrol reports a two vehicle wreck on US 65, 4 miles north of Chillicothe shortly after 6 o’clock Monday night. According to the crash report 19 year old Addison R. Wilson of Dawn was northbound and turned onto LIV 214 and then attempted to make a U-Turn. While attempting that U-Turn, Wilson’s auto turned into the path of another northbound vehicle driven by 48 year old Brent A. Murphy of Chillicothe striking that vehicle in the passenger side. The Murphy vehicle then skidded across the center line and off the east side of the roadway where it struck a sign post and overturned. Murphy had minor injuries. A passenger in the Murphy vehicle, 34 year old Anthony J. Kohl of Chillicothe has moderate injuries and Wilson, the driver of the vehicle that made the U-Turn had minor injuries. All three were transported to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe for treatment. A passenger in the Wilson vehicle, 19 year old Donald E. McCracken refused treatment at the scene.
