Moberly schools will not allow students to carry cell phones or smart watches

Students attending Moberly High School will not be allowed to carry cell phones or smart watches with them during the upcoming school year. According to KOMU the Moberly Board of Education passed the measure that aims to curb classroom distractions during its meeting Tuesday. Students must keep the devices in their lockers or cars. If they have any electronics in their possession, even if they aren’t using it, they could have it confiscated and face other punishments. Parents will have the option to call the front office if they need to send a message to their child.
